Every custom piece starts with a conversation and ends with a sculpture that’s deeply meaningful, beautifully crafted, and rooted in the natural world. Here’s how the process works:

Tell us what you have in mind—whether it's a specific subject (like an octopus or salmon), a symbolic theme (growth, transformation, memory), or a feeling you want the piece to evoke. No need to be technical—this is about starting the dialogue.
We’ll connect to discuss ideas, scale, style, and wood selection. Tracy may suggest specific salvaged woods (e.g., arbutus, red cedar, maple) based on what’s available and best suited for your piece. Inspiration images or reference sketches are welcome but not required.
You’ll receive a clear proposal including:
Once approved, a 50% deposit secures your spot in the schedule.
Tracy begins the carving process, honoring the natural form of the wood while shaping it to your vision. You may receive process updates or photos, especially for larger or more complex works.
Each sculpture is finished with a protective coating (clear coat or subtle acrylic washes) to enhance the natural textures and preserve the piece. Tracy ensures every detail is refined and ready for its new home.
Once complete, we arrange safe delivery or local pickup. Final payment is due at this stage. The sculpture arrives ready to display and backed by the care and quality that define all of Tracy’s work.
